No. I am not a fan of the no carb diet. Listen, your body needs healthy carbs--the right kind of carbs in moderate portions. Carbs are essential for building and maintaining muscle mass and the more lean muscle you have the more calories you actually burn even at a resting state. Adding muscle increases your metabolic rate, and thus, losing it lowers your metabolic rate. If you don't eat carbs your body will cannibalize your muscle to get the glucose it needs. The goal here is to lose fat, not muscle.
